It took us a while to be able to test this new address we have been told were just perfect. Nothing like a cold winter day to enjoy their house made dishes.

On the menu today, spotted on their instagram account @dano_biarritz (the best way to know what they have every day): roasted pork with bacon, shallot juice, cabbage and broccoli mousseline. What a gastronomic poem!

Eager to taste this perfect combo, we enter the little boutique, warmly welcomed by Mathilde. We cross the shop area, where you can find selected delicatessen, cheeses, groceries, local products, Marlette pastry preparations, Pukka infusions: a good selection of the basics everyone should have in their kitchen at home. And we go further at the back, in a charming little room with just a few tables. It feels like you were invited to eat at some friend place in his kitchen. No fuss, just the essential. We can see that Will is busy cooking, but he takes the time to say hello. And then we sit, just like at home, we eat, and it is simply perfect. And for the dessert, we could not resist to the pear and chocolate pie, and hopefully we did not.

And here is an important tip: apparently they do a delicious roasted chicken on Sundays, with their own marinade that they keep secret. We are looking forward to testing it. Make sure you book your chicken the day before.
